A former cop, copywriter and cartoonist, Steve now works as an online editor for a magazine publisher while moonlighting as a feature writer. Although a relative newbie to the world of journalism, his work has already been featured in the Sydney Morning Herald, Mx and on various news.com.au websites including The Punch.

Steve, now in his forties, is committed to taking life less seriously. He describes his writing style as superfluous waffling sprinkled with a few lousy gags. But he enjoys his writing. And, according to his long suffering wife, Lisa, it seems to keep him out of the pub.
